Manage the project “Climate change and displacement: building an evidence base and equipping States with tools and guidance for action” financed by the EU. Provide advice and guidance on the UNFCCC process and incorporate the human mobility issue in specific negotiations items and activities.
Keeping abreast of emerging climate change policy issues, especially with relevance to the UNFCCC and the IPCC, including monitoring ongoing trends in policy that are relevant to UNHCR. Participating in climate change related working groups (HLCP).
Convene and coordinate the Advisory Group on Climate Change and Human Mobility (UNHCR, IOM, NRC/ IDMC, UNU, UNDP, ILO, OHCHR, Sciences Po (CERI) and Refugees International).
